Session Description

The CIO Summit is designed to address the needs of the enterprise CIO/CTO and Chief Digital Information Officer attendees of MWC Barcelona.

For many enterprises it is becoming clear that Technology on its own isn’t enough. Managing the technology infrastructure is now a fundamental part of every business, with the CIO’s office guiding the strategy and generating value from the enterprise technology plan.

Companies require their chief information officers (CIOs), chief technology officers (CTOs), and chief digital and information officers (CDIOs) to deliver on the often-elusive goal of turning the promise of technology investment into data value.

The role that Mobile Network Operators, global systems integrators, and technology solutions providers play in the digital transformation of the enterprise and the CIO’s office itself are critically important.

The CIO Summit at MWC Barcelona is designed to offer a comprehensive learning opportunity for enterprise CIO/CTOs to understand the interconnected role between advanced technology, data (and AI) and enterprise innovation.

Our goal is to bring together a unique cross-section of executives to discuss how they managed a digital infrastructure plan and how this plan delivered new value to the CIO office in terms of data management, automation, productivity, transparency, security and more.
